Our family’s love affair with gelato started in 1915 when our great grandfather, Andrea, started making gelato for his bar in Messina, Sicily. With a passion for simple flavours and fresh ingredients, he shared his love of food and secret recipes with his grandson Orazio.
Over a century and four generations later, Orazio’s family continue the tradition, perfecting the growing range of Delizia gelato and sorbet. With the next generation dedicated to creating the best gelato, we promise the taste is more than just delicious... it’s Delizia.
Our milk-based gelato, made with recipes passed down through four generations of family, is unrivalled in flavour and quality. The fat content of gelato is less than half the amount found in ice cream resulting in a much more intense flavour.
Our sorbet is dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan. It is made from the freshest of fruit and it is the smoothest and creamiest sorbet available on the market. Sorbet is a very refreshing treat - especially in the heat of of a Queensland summer.
